This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work full-time through the summer of 2027. The internship is located out of any Compeer office location. If pursuing internship credit through your university, it is your responsibility to consult with your advisor and review the internship's job description to ensure it meets the minimum eligibility requirements.
The contributions you will make:
This internship will assist with real estate evaluations and market surveys, as well as obtain and analyze sales data information to accurately plat legal descriptions for sales and plat subject properties.
A typical day:
  • Collect and analyze sales information to support appraisals and asset valuation.
  • Assist appraisers with property inspections.

The skills and experience we prefer you have:
  • Working towards completion of bachelor's or associate's degree in agricultural business, business administration, finance or economics.
  • Agricultural background required, with knowledge of agriculture economics and farm practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of values of machinery and equipment, typical to agriculture in the area.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), client databases and industry software (Facts, FEM or equivalent).

How we will take care of you:
Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Base Pay
$19-$20 USD
