Job description

In this role you will design, develop, and support enterprise software solutions on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using technologies such as C#, .NET, React, Azure, AWS, and modern DevOps practices

The Software Engineer II is a key contributor to modernization initiatives, supports cloud migration efforts, and ensures governance, compliance, security, and operational excellence across the application portfolio. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Software Development & Architecture: Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise software solutions; build scalable applications; develop microservices, APIs, and distributed systems; collaborate with architects, analysts, stakeholders; apply sound design patterns and algorithms. 

  • Cloud & Hybrid Environment Management: Support transitions from on-premises to cloud or hybrid architectures; work with senior IT leadership on migration strategies; build and maintain solutions on Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms; ensure performance and scalability. 

  • DevOps & Automation: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines; utilize Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and automated deployment technologies; participate in Agile delivery. 

  • Security, Governance & Compliance: Ensure governance and monitoring; maintain compliance with SOX, PCI-DSS and internal standards; partner with cybersecurity teams; support audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning. 

  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Maintain test plans, test cases, scripts, documentation, and traceability; support automated defect tracking and adherence to ISO, GDPR, and HIPAA requirements. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with C# and .NET. 
  • Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks. 
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. 
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, automated deployments, Git, and Agile methodologies. 
  • Proficiency supporting on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. 
  • Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications 
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate. 
    • AWS Certified Developer. 
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and automation tools. 
    • Knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB, and related database technologies.
