Role: SDET / Automation Engineer - Retail POS
Location: 225 S Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 - Onsite

Requirement: Automation script development and maintenance; 5+ years - in person Aptos Retail POS experience preferred.
Keywords: Test automation, Python, UI automation, API automation, SQL, Github Actions, Playwright, SDET, CI/CD
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts for retail point-of-sale (POS) applications.
  • Design and execute automated test cases to validate POS functionality, integrations, and business workflows.
  • Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across retail applications.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, analyze test results, and improve test coverage.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to identify defects and ensure quality releases.
  • Maintain automation frameworks, test data, and execution processes.
  • Support continuous testing efforts by integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Validate retail transactions, payment flows, and customer-facing POS experiences.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
  • Strong experience with automation script development and maintenance.
  • Experience creating and executing automated test scripts for enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of UI automation and API testing.
