Manufacturing Engineer
A manufacturing company in Hamilton is hiring a Sustaining/Manufacturing Engineer to sustain and improve existing product designs.
Responsibilities include:
- Modifying existing products to improve manufacturability in the plant
- Putting designs into practice
- Conducting design reviews with cross functional teams
- Designing and developing appropriate assembly stations, specifying test equipment, establishing assembly standards, and training operators
- Developing bill of materials, routings, and analyzes production rates in ERP system
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a manufacturing design engineer
- Strong experience with 3D modeling software, specifically SolidWorks
- Design and development background
- Strong mechanical background
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
Preferences:
- Degree in Design Engineering
- Experience working with sheetmetal manufacturing
