Job Summary:

They are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Playwright
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform functional testing to validate application features and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies and test cases
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Identify, track, and report defects using standard defect management tools
• Analyze test execution results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers
• Optimize test execution processes to improve reliability and reduce runtime
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts and frameworks
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and DevOps
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Maintain and update documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and quality engineering
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for automation testing
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Knowledge of web application testing and modern testing practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
