Current Electric is seeking an experienced Service Electrician to join our Commercial and Residential Service Team. The Big Tasks of an Experienced Service Electrician
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems in residential and commercial environments
  • Plan and layout electrical wiring and installations in accordance with NEC and local codes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions to customers in a professional manner
  • Lead jobs independently while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards
  • Mentor and support apprentices and junior electricians

Key Qualifications for the Experienced Service Electrician Role
  • Minimum 4 years of residential and/or commercial electrical experience required
  • Strong customer-facing and customer service background required
  • Previous service electrician experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading jobs and mentoring apprentices preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism, dependability, and integrity
  • Electrician license preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM or service management software preferred (ServiceTitan experience is a plus)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Must be insurable under company driving policy
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pull wire and work with conduit systems
  • Ability to work overhead and in confined spaces
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, and working on scaffolding
  • Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring
