Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise in integration of NUMAC with the H31 communication platform, developing and validating detailed system requirements.
  • Define and document system requirements for communication between NUMAC and EGD systems.
  • Develop communication protocols and requirements for NUMAC interaction with Plant UDH.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including control system engineers, software developers, and plant operators to ensure system compatibility and performance.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with small modular reactor (SMR) control systems such as BWRX-300.
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with software tools used for system design and testing.
  • Proven experience with control system communications, preferably in nuclear power plant environments.
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols and systems integration (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PLC communication interfaces).
  • Experience with system requirements development, prototyping, and final design processes.
  • Familiarity with NUMAC, H31 platforms, EGD systems, and Plant UDH communication architectures is highly desirable.
