A rapidly expanding international software development company in the mobile and e-commerce space is seeking a FULL TIME Senior Programmer with outstanding C#/.NET skills and experience.  Candidate should be at ease with developing desktop based applications, worked in creating GUI rich Windows based and server side applications for end users. The right person will have experience programming Windows based User Interface controls (DevExpress / GUI toolkits, third party controls and DLLs), ADO.NET database programming, as well as MS SQL Database programming.  A minimum of 4 years of C# development experience and over 8 years of overall development experience is a must.

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications in a client-server framework, and should be motivated in delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget. A strong background in developing enterprise solutions is required as well as the drive and motivation to set and achieve goals and grow with the company.   Additionally we will be expanding our products to mobile platforms like Android and Apple, so there is tremendous opportunity for you to be involved in state-of-the-art technologies that are literally changing the face of computing and more importantly, the way people work and process real time information.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related discipline is required. The following skills and knowledge are required to be considered for this position.
* a minimum of 8+ years writing and delivering commercial Windows and Web based applications using VB6, .NET, C#, and SQL.  Last 4 years in C#
* Strong knowledge of object-oriented development using C#.

* The design & development of application user interfaces that are fresh and exciting.

* Strong knowledge developing applications using ASP.NET, WPF, Silverlight and Ajax  a plus
* Strong knowledge designing and developing reports using SSRS and Crystal Reports
* Experience with integration and interfacing between different systems and data formats using ETL, SSIS, XML

* Experience programming applications to use databases; MS SQL Server 2008 and 2005.
* Experience creating and deploying multiple releases of the same application.

* Must have strong knowledge of working with Source Safe and TFS and version control discipline
* Extensive problem solving and debugging skills.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully balance multiple tasks and timelines.
* Expert in best practices used to develop enterprise applications and relational databases.
* Motivated to work in an exciting and fast paced team environment with aggressive schedules.
* Outstanding communication skills.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The following skills would be very desirable. We realize that you won't have them all but having at least a few of them will contribute to your success in this role.
* Experience creating and maintaining application build environments with .NET.

* Experience with GPS and development of GPS based solutions
* Application design experience in Microsoft or Google Mapping will be very helpful.
* Experience developing web based solutions for enterprise customers.
* Familiarity or experience with mobile computing application development is a tremendous advantage.
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
* Experience designing a product from the ground up is highly desirable.
* Leadership skills and ambition will give you a serious edge.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

* Salary will be commensurate with current and past experience in developing enterprise applications and desired skill sets possessed.

* Long term position and must be able to commit at least 2 years to the project.  Project may last 5+ years.
