Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Civil Engineer to join our team and drive forward innovative infrastructure large data center construction projects, the first one is 6 month project in Lordstown Ohio. More projects are coming soon . In this role, you will be at the forefront of civil engineering design, construction management, and project execution, ensuring that all phases of our projects meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will help shape sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a tangible impact on large-scale civil projects.
Duties

  • Monitor the contractors’ planning, progress and quality of the civil and architectural works in compliance with the contract program and Employer Requirements; Advise procurement and Cost Control,Advise the time management,Prepare the construction method statement review document
  • Monitors with the Client, GC, Subcontractor and EOR & AHJ the civil equipment and materials approval process to ensure compliance with the ER and AHJ and EOR.
  • Develop detailed project schedules using advanced project management tools to ensure timely completion of all project phases.
  • Prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and technical documentation to facilitate accurate project costing and resource allocation.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software for drafting schematics, system designs, and construction drawings.
  • Conduct construction inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety standards across all project sites.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical engineers, land surveyors, water treatment specialists, and other stakeholders to optimize system design and integration.
  • Manage project documentation using Bluebeam and maintain comprehensive records of project activities for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Apply GIS (Geographic Information Systems), ArcGIS, HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Centers), SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), and other technical tools for data analysis and system modeling.
  • Oversee construction management activities including scheduling, resource planning, risk mitigation, and contractor coordination.
  • Prepare clear technical reports and documentation through technical writing to communicate project progress and findings effectively.
Experience

  • Licensed civil, structure engineering or construction management or equivalent; Certified or Equivalent Professional Engineer or Construction Management Engineer(preferred)
  • At least 10 years of relevant work in civil, structure engineering or construction and project management; Working knowledge of OHSA requirements, USA construction code; Familiarity with government approvals process; Professional in both written and spoken English; Understanding USA Construction Industry Contract conditions and terms Understanding and Prepare project programme scheduling; IT literate and AutoCAD Navisworks Manage 3D or BIM 360.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling (Project scheduling), inspection (Construction inspection), estimating (Construction estimating), and system design (System design).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Centers), SWMM modeling software, Mathcad for calculations, and Bluebeam for document review.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce detailed technical reports and coordinate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
