Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer-Developer 4 to develop and integrate software solutions in a defense and security environment. The role involves embedded, real-time software development, software architecture, testing, and integration activities within an agile and collaborative environment. The position also requires troubleshooting in a high-fidelity laboratory environment and working directly with aircraft hardware.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and test software components and functions.
• Support the development of software functional requirements.
• Support software architecture trades and revise existing architecture.
• Specify internal and external software interfaces.
• Conduct software test-driven development.
• Conduct and support peer reviews on software life cycle data.
• Contribute to the success of an Agile development team.
• Support sprint planning and meet sprint commitments.
• Support software integration and troubleshooting activities in laboratory environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve software and integration issues.
• Contribute to software development and integration activities across the software life cycle.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded, real-time software development.
• Proficiency in Ada.
• Experience with Agile software development practices.
