Job Description
THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE - US CITIZENS ONLY, PLEASE
TMC Technologies is looking for a Linux Software Developer to join our team supporting the mission of the Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The TMC team provides development and maintenance of tactical initiatives and baseline developments in support of Naval Weapons Systems /Combat Systems (e.g. AEGIS, Aegis BMD, FMS, etc). The Computer Program Engineering Services (CPES) provided include support for Weapon System Element and Combat System Domain Engineering, Fleet and Land Based Test Site Support.
This position will be supporting our Cybersecurity group on CPES. A portion of the work performed by the Linux Software Developer would be in the Integrated Warfare Systems Laboratory at NSWCDD.
Job Requirements
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required)
Bachelor's Degree in related technical field
Rust programmer preferred
C/C++ programming experience in lieu of Rust ok
Willingness to learn Rust if C/C++ programmer
Network socket programming experience (TCP/UDP/server/client)
Experience using version control systems, preferably GIT
