Position Summary: 
The Civil Engineer position completes construction projects by preparing engineering design plans and documents in accordance with client and company specifications. 
Position Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare engineering drawings and reports for land development projects 
  • Assist with or preparing permit applications 
  • Erosion and sedimentation control reports 
  • Design sediment traps and basins 
  • Design stormwater management facilities 
  • Design non-structural BMP’s for groundwater recharge 
  • Perform site visits 
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Education/Skills/Qualifications: 
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Professional registration (P.E.) is preferred but not required 
  • E.I.T certification 
  • 1-5 years related experience/internships 
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 30) and stormwater management software is required 
  • Valid driver’s license required 
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer facing personality to effectively work with clients and team members 
  • Strong organizational skills
