As an intern, you will work with a host organization developing cutting-edge technologies across maritime, defence, digital, environmental, and emerging technology sectors. You will contribute to a core business project, gain practical experience, and collaborate with industry professionals, researchers, and fellow students from diverse disciplines.   • Internship Eligibility:
  • Open to post-secondary students across all disciplines (i.e. Environmental Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing and Communications, etc.)
  • Students must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary program at the time of the internship
  • Motivated, collaborative self-starter with a demonstrated willingness to learn
  • Eligibility is limited to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Program Highlights:
  • 13-week, full-time paid employment from September to December 2026, with a minimum wage of $19 per hour

  • Technical skills and experience with software programs or equipment (i.e. AutoCAD, Python, C/C++, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a marine, technology, or defence environment is considered an asset
  • Maritime Certifications (i.e. Small Vessel Operator Proficiency (SVOP), Marine Basic First Aid, etc.) considered an asset
