Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, Inc. is looking to hire a Sr. Application Developer who is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of business and manufacturing applications that support plant and enterprise operations. This position provides technical leadership in application development, system integration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. The role also supports best practices, technical documentation, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. This position is located in White, Georgia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Provides technical support to the team responsible for a subset of business systems applications.
• Leads in the configuration, maintenance, enhancement and support of software and web services development
• Provides assistance in one or all areas of applications programming that includes testing, design and analysis.
• Writes technical documentation
• Oversees vendor contracts and resources
• Provides guidance in best development and version control practices
• Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications
• Perform daily application monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all applications.
• Assist implementation of various applications related to the current and future plant operations.
• Creates and maintains applications library documents and knowledgebase. Including work flow diagrams, ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and programming specifications.
• Provide trend analysis to the other IT teams to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
• Maintain excellent communication with the IT Application Manager on all tasks and projects.
• Perform on-site and remote technical support as needed.
• Participate in on call duties and willing to work on national holidays for maintenance and deployments.
