Job description

Location: Sarasota, FL Security Clearance: TOP SECRET We are seeking an experienced X-Midas software developer with 7+ years of hands-on development of X-Midas based applications to join our employee owned team and contribute to the ongoing development of the X-Midas baseline used across the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate brings deep X-Midas expertise, drive, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to a team delivering mission-critical software solutions. What you’ll do: • Contribute to the ongoing sustainment, feature development, and modernization of the X-Midas baseline used across the Intelligence Community • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable software delivery • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, architecture, and operational stability with minimal disruption to ongoing programs • Collaborate with a small, experienced engineering team across multiple sites to guide technical direction and mentor junior developers Required Qualifications • Active TS clearance required, TS/SCI preferred • 7+ years of hands-on X-Midas application development experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Strong software development experience in C++ and Python required, with additional experience in other languages preferred • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production software systems • Experience creating, testing, and validating X-Midas modules and components against design specifications • Proficient with Linux/Unix (Rocky, RHEL, or similar) • Knowledge of version control using Git • Ability to work within a collaborative, cross-functional team using Agile methods • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills Bonus Points
Signal Processing & DSP Background • Experience with DSP software applications and techniques such as signal detection, spectrum monitoring, or geolocation (not required, but a valuable differentiator) • Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and performance tuning in complex multi-language signal processing environments Software Engineering & DevOps • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous deployment • Experience analyzing existing systems, understanding dependencies, and implementing changes with minimal disruption to ongoing operations • Knowledge of shell scripting and automation Security & Compliance • Applied security best practices and compliance requirements in classified or government environments • Active TS/SCI with willingness to take a polygraph exam
