Engineering Intern - Civil, Geotechnical, Electrical, or Structural
McMillen, Inc. is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience supporting real-world projects in civil, geotechnical, electrical, or structural engineering. Interns will collaborate with experienced engineers and project teams, gaining both technical expertise and professional development in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Available Opportunities:
Structural Engineering - Denver, CO & Portland, OR
Civil/Geotechnical Engineering - Vancouver, BC
Electrical Engineering - Boise, ID & Spokane, WA
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist engineers with design, analysis, and technical calculations for ongoing projects.
• Support preparation of drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MATLAB, or discipline-specific tools).
• Participate in fieldwork, site visits, inspections, and testing as needed.
• Collect, organize, and analyze project data and prepare technical reports or documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions to engineering challenges.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
• Provide general project support, including research, documentation, and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
