Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a skilled Software Developer with GIS expertise to join our dynamic development team at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, with a focus on geospatial applications and solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while utilizing modern technologies and best practices. The Software Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications with a strong emphasis on geospatial technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications
  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using ESRI technologies
  • Collaborate with team members on software design and code reviews
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
  • Document technical specifications and maintain software documentation
  • Participate in Agile development processes including daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Education and Experience:
