Job description

Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.37040)

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by five years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires:

  • Experience with Kafka, Apache Spark and other big data technologies;
  • Five years of experience in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals;
  • Five years of experience in Java, Python, or similar OO languages;
  • Familiarity and Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Five Years of experience in cloud computing concepts, networking, security, and virtualization technologies;
  • Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process;
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash); and
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $167,149 to $178,999 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
