Software Engineer Type: Direct Hire
Locations: 2 days a week onsite in Arlington, TX Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in .NET/C# development, Azure cloud technologies, and modern CI/CD practices to help design, build, and optimize enterprise applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable software, automating delivery processes, and leveraging emerging AI technologies to improve developer productivity and application quality.


Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET.
  • Build and enhance cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
  • Develop automated testing strategies and integrate quality and security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to software architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies) to improve development efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive development and operational tasks.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-7  years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
  • Experience building applications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform is a plus).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Understanding of software testing, code quality, and secure development practices.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
  • Experience implementing automated deployment and release strategies.
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-powered development tools.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI concepts, APIs, or AI-assisted software development workflows.
