$70/hr on C2C / 1099 all inclusive (OR) $65/hr on W2

Note

  • Will close submissions on: 9/3/26 at 10am EST

  • Interview Process: There will likely be two rounds of interviews. Interviews will be held in person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.

  • Duration: 1 year with extension likely Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required onsite days.

Job Description

This Java/React developer position supports the Michigan Department of Transportation's (MDOT) Project Development and Maintenance programs.

As a software developer, responsibilities include collaborating with the project manager, application owner, and resource manager, working on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. This role performs a variety of complex tasks and may report directly to a project lead or manager. Strong communication skills, teamwork, self-direction, commitment, and quick learning are essential.

In addition to full-stack development, this position works closely with UI/UX team members to build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.
