Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Phoenix, AZ, Las Colinas, TX, or Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions, focusing on secure application development and data processing flows using technologies like SQL Server, SSIS, Hadoop, and Spark.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in secure application development
  • Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs
  • Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
  • Engineer Data Processing Flows, Stored Procedures, and Dynamic Reporting based upon pre-defined development models, languages and standards
  • Produce Functional System Design Documents
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments
  • Debug and document existing systems through code analysis
Requirements:
  • 7 years of application development and implementation experience
  • 7 years of SQL Server, SQL server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
  • 5 years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
  • 2 years of Hadoop, Spark Programming, Hive experience
  • 2 years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
  • 2 years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
