Job description

Job Title: Calibration Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to perform calibration, testing, and assembly of precision mechanical instruments. In this role, you will use calibration equipment, measuring tools, and computer-based systems to ensure products meet quality, accuracy, and performance standards. You will work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate mechanical instruments according to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Operate calibration equipment and software to verify product accuracy and performance.
  • Assemble precision components and instruments following engineering specifications.
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections of assembled products.
  • Record calibration results and production data accurately using computer systems and Excel.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
  • Use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to meet quality and production objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with calibration equipment.
  • Hands-on experience using calibration equipment and calibration software.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, and drills.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Experience using testing and measurement equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for recording and tracking data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering specifications.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, machine shop, or assembly environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing facility that includes machine shop, warehouse, assembly, and office operations. Team members work collaboratively across departments in a production-driven environment that encourages open communication and continuous improvement.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Overtime: Occasional extended hours until 5:30 PM and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
