The Junior Software Developer executes the development and maintenance of software tools and utilities based on defined customer requirements. Working within a collaborative team, you will rapidly master existing code stacks to provide consistent development support across a diverse portfolio of applications. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging code, maintaining existing software systems, and performing quality control tasks. You will also contribute to software quality by documenting technical processes and assessing user feedback to support continuous product improvement.
In This Role, You Will:
โ€ข Implement enterprise-grade applications for CAGE and Nauti-CAGE platforms
โ€ข Write efficient, scalable, and secure code across multiple languages and frameworks
โ€ข Lead secure CI/CD pipeline design and automation
โ€ข Integrate vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and runtime monitoring into deployments
โ€ข Champion best practices for secure coding and infrastructure-as-code
โ€ข Develop, optimize, and deploy algorithms for machine learning and artificial intelligence
โ€ข Handle large-scale datasets, ensuring data integrity and model accuracy
โ€ข Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize ML models in production
โ€ข Partner with cross-functional teams to align software, security, and AI/ML initiatives
โ€ข Drive innovation by staying ahead of emerging technologies
Required Skills and Qualifications
โ€ข Active TS/SCI Clearance and US Citizenship are required
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or related technical field with experience (6+ years) in software development
โ€ข Programming Languages: Python, Java, C++, Go, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, NoSQL, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Matplotlib, OpenCV โ€ข Proficiency with DevSecOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, security scanning tools โ€ข Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP with emphasis on secure deployments and compliance
โ€ข Data Science amp; AI/ML: Feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, MLOps pipelines โ€ข Architecture and Orchestration Frameworks: RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Agentic workflows; LangGraph, CrewAI with the ability to design multi-step โ€œreasoning loopsโ€
โ€ข 6+ years in software development, with at least 5 years in DevSecOps and AI/ML
โ€ข Proven track record of embedding security in software development โ€ข Demonstrated ability to mentor, lead projects, and influence technical direction
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
โ€ข MS in Computer Science or related technical field
โ€ข Experience with Rust or Go for secure systems programming
โ€ข Contributions to open-source projects in DevSecOps or AI/ML CERTIFICATIONS
