) Chinese Program Leader (Chinese speaking required)
A dynamic skilled nursing facility is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Chinese Bilingual Program Leader. Thank you in advance for your interest in Waterview Nursing Care Center. We invite you to become a part of our team and look forward to reviewing your resume.
Our Chinese Bilingual Program Leader is on the frontline of the wellbeing of our residents in the facility. This person is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the Chinese programming for our residents (welcome baskets, dรฉcor, work with dietary, and recreational programming). They provide top-notch creative activities to our residents. This person will deliver and oversee programs that encourage physical activity, increase socialization, provide entertainment, and encourages residents to continue pursuing and participating in their interests and hobbies.
Responsibilities may include are but not limited to:
  1. At least 6 months of recreation activity experience (art therapy, music therapy, in a long term or assisted living setting.
  2. Be outgoing, warm and have a genuine care personality.
  3. Be able to create and run programs to get residents involved and excited.
  4. Be dependable and able to supervise activities, special events and safe excursions for the residents
  5. Demonstrate good listening and communication skills and always present a positive and professional attitude.
  6. Must possess a proven ability and speak in front of a group setting with ease, confidence and clarity y to lead programs and other instructional sessions
  7. Attend external events as needed to speak about Chinese programming
  8. Perform tours for Chinese speaking families/prospects
  9. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Director of Activities and Director of Admissions
