Reporting To: Mgr Test Engineering
Description
Provide design, engineering, and analysis support to other engineers and designers in the development and maintenance of orthopedic implants and instruments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Primary:
    • Apply engineering acumen to evaluate impact of revisions to technical standards on medical device compliance.
    • Create impact assessments for revised technical standards
    • Lead and coordinate the assignment of work to cross-functional team
    • Devise and implement process improvements
    • Provide monthly updates to executive leadership
  • Secondary:
    • Assist the Engineering Test Lab in carrying out product development research and testing
    • Research and develop test methods for medical devices
    • Design and fabricate test fixtures
    • Perform testing
