GIRO is looking for several Software Development Interns for the Winter 2027 term. At GIRO, you will be an integral part of a development team and collaborate with software experts who have extensive expertise in the public transit and postal services industries. In addition to discovering how to work in an agile environment, a software development internship at GIRO offers the opportunity to:

  • Participate in the design and development phases of a large suite of software products, including functional design, architecture, technical analysis, and programming;
  • Develop new features for our applications;
  • Implement and test software functionalities;
  • Manage OBSs (bugs) and identify appropriate solutions to resolve them.

Your internship will also involve:

  • Providing technical support to development and project teams that use the features developed by your team;
  • Writing technical analysis documentation.

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU AN ESSENTIAL MEMBER OF OUR TEAM
  • You have completed at least two years of an undergraduate degree in a relevant or related discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, etc.);
  • You enjoy and have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming;
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and thrive in a collaborative environment;
  • You are proficient in spoken and written French.
