Job description

The Product Delivery Manager is responsible for facilitating the iterative development process (currently Scrum) ensuring the project team adheres to Agile principles and practices while delivering scalable, stable, and highquality products in alignment with established compliance and governance standards. This role involves facilitating Scrum events, supporting team members, removing impediments, managing the technical/support backlog, planning sprints and releases, and providing postlaunch support. The Product Delivery Manager fosters an environment of continuous improvement to ensure solutions are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and comply with organizational policies and controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and facilitates daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and refinements. Ensures Scrum events are productive and kept within the timebox.
  • Collaborates with Product Manager(s) to manage the technical/support backlog. Ensures backlog items are well-defined and ready for the project team to work on. Tracks and reports on the progress of backlog items and ensures timely resolution of support issues.
  • Provides support for product-related issues and ensures timely resolution. Partners with the support team to address customer concerns and feedback. Implement best practices for product support and continuous improvement. Supports third-party apps as needed. Provides deployment process support.
  • Identifies and removes obstacles hindering the project team's progress. Ensures the team has necessary resources and support to complete work.
  • Provides insights on Agile principles and practices with the project team. Supports the team and members to become more self-organized, versatile, and enhance the team's skills and overall performance.
  • Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of delivery activities to ensure scalable, stable, and highquality products are delivered on time. Ensures all work complies with established compliance, security, and governance standards while maintaining delivery excellence across the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, relative field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management, preferably in a product development environment
  • Demonstrated experience of managing successful projects required
  • Experience working in cross-functional environment(s) with engineering, product, support, and business stakeholders
  • Experience leading through influence; leading a scrum project team
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM, or SAF3 Scrum Master (SSM) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent delivery certification preferred
  • Formal Agile training strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and delivery mythologies
  • Knowledge of product and technical backlog management
  • Understanding of enterprise governance, compliance, security, and quality standards
  • Familiarity with post release support models, incident management, and continuous improvement practices
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software preferred
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead Scrum ceremonies, planning sessions, and retrospectives effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify, remove, or escalate impediments impacting team performance and delivery outcomes

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $105,322.00 to $131,652.00 Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
