Job description

ImageNet is looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to joint our growing team in the Wichita market. This role focuses on building client relationships, generating new business, and delivering technology solutions that help organizations succeed. Essential Functions:ย 

  • Attend initial and ongoing training onย company products, theย companyย businessย and effective sales techniques;ย retainย and applyย skills and knowledge learned in training sessions.ย 

  • Compile lists of prospective customers/clients and proactively developsย new customerย relationships through several avenues including cold calling, telemarketing, networking events,ย referralsย and severalย organizedย lists;ย travelย throughoutย assigned territoryย toย callย on existingย andย prospectiveย customers toย solicitย current orย futureย opportunities.ย 

  • Manage current customer clientele providing monthly/quarterly reviews, bestย practicesย recommendations, areas for improvement, status reports, serviceย reportsย and leasing/service contract data.ย 

  • Evaluate customersโ€™ business scenarios, qualify customersโ€™ย needsย and develop solutions using all core competencies of the company including hardware,ย softwareย and services.ย 

  • Work closely with clients during all phases of the sales cycle.ย 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and potential clients; develop andย maintainย relationships with multiple positions within the organization.ย 

  • Responsible for meeting objectively set sales goalsย determinedย by Sales Manager and Branch Manager.ย 

  • Maintain all dataย regardingย sales calls, forecastย businessย and customer files in theย companyย providedย CRM according to standards set by theย company.ย 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate personal and corporate goals.ย 

  • Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts for ordersย obtainedย and coordinate all follow-up.ย 

  • Estimate date of delivery toย customerย based on knowledge of theย companyโ€™s production and delivery schedules.ย 

  • Prepare reportsย ofย business transactions and keep expense accounts.ย 

  • Maintain a personal calendar and keep it updated daily.ย 

  • Regular,ย physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.ย 

  • Other duties andย projects asย assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.ย
