Rabalais Constructors is seeking a Planner/P6 Scheduler in the Corpus Christi, Texas.

A Planner/P6 Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing project schedules with software, often in collaboration with project managers and other team members.

  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 schedules, and ensuring all tasks, durations, and dependencies are accurately represented 
  • Performing critical path analysis, resource allocation, and float calculations to optimize project timelines 
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to minimize cost and schedule impacts 
  • Generating reports, S-curves, and productivity assessments to track performance and communicate updates to stakeholders 
  • Validating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and applying logic ties within schedules to ensure accuracy 
  • Coordinating with project teams to update schedules in real time and support decision-making

  • Proficiency and familiarity with other scheduling tools like Microsoft Project 
  • Strong understanding of scheduling concepts such as critical path, float, lead times, and resource leveling 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to detect issues and optimize project performance 
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders 
  • Experience in project controls, construction, or engineering environments, often with 3–7 years of relevant experience for mid-level roles
