We are currently searching for a leader to manage the quality assurance and operational administration team and functions within Enterprise Applications. In addition, this leader is expected to build executive relationships and serve as a project manager for key strategic projects for the business.

This position oversees and participates in three functions:

  • The testing process for Enterprise Applications owned and managed solutions (primarily Salesforce and NetSuite), including strategy, release readiness, and user acceptance testing coordination that support Agile delivery.

  • Key admin tasks including provisioning activities for multiple applications and ongoing operational activities owned by the EA team.

  • Project management for key strategic initiatives, including scope, timeline, dependency, risk, status, and stakeholder management across business and technology teams.

You will manage quality assurance and EA admin resources, influence many others, and provide leadership within the Enterprise Applications team. We expect you to bring strong leadership fundamentals, executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders while also coaching a team through execution details and change.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

  • Bring high energy, effectiveness at managing relationships up, down, and across the organization, and ability to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  • Own project management for key strategic initiatives, including scope clarification, timeline development, dependency tracking, risk management, and status communication.

  • Create testing, quality, and automation strategies in alignment with organizational goals and business priorities.

  • Support the team in identifying and improving test automation solutions, including practical uses of AI that can increase efficiency and confidence in the QA process.

  • Work collaboratively with development and QA resources to identify test cases and processes best suited for automation and continuous improvement.

  • Assist teams with identifying and evaluating the impact of major changes to existing applications, integrations, and business processes.

  • Gain knowledge of application onboarding and offboarding processes and an understanding of system access across EA systems. Ensure timely completion of related activities.

  • Gain or possess an understanding of key operational reports and processes owned by EA and ensure timely completion of related activities.

  • Mitigate risk, make sound recommendations, and escalate to leadership as appropriate.

  • Develop and increase team performance and collaboration across the organization.

  • Create a motivating, accountable, and rewarding environment for the team and the organization.

  • Attract, build, and retain highly engaged and capable resources for the team as necessary.

  • Manage the team to ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.

  • Provide oversight and feedback during the full software development life cycle, from analysis and design to testing, documentation, delivery, and maintenance.

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

  • Develop other team members through coaching, delegation, and growth opportunities.

  • Work with all areas of the business, including UAT coordination across key stakeholders and executive-ready communication on priorities, risks, and recommendations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technologies, business processes, and operating models.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or NetSuite required.

  • Knowledge of lead to cash processes a plus.

  • Knowledge of accounting and financial processes a plus.

  • Working understanding of how to test integrations and assess impacts across connected systems.

  • Proficiency in QA methodologies, software testing principles, verification and validation techniques, and test management.

  • Ability to complete planning activities to support Agile delivery and manage the team to ensure execution.

  • Working knowledge automation concepts using AI tools a plus.

  • Basic understanding of AI-enabled productivity or testing use cases, with curiosity and desire to learn.

  • Skills to communicate effectively cross-functionally across various teams, organizations, and internal stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and excellent problem solver.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.

  • Professional experience leading quality assurance, enterprise applications, business systems, or related technology work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with technical, business, and leadership audiences.

  • Experience with Salesforce or NetSuite required.

  • Testing automation experience preferred; hands-on AI or test automation experience is not required but basic understanding and desire to learn are important.

Additional Requirements and Details:

  • Travel required up to 10% of the time.

  • Located and working from an office location.

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

  • Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
