Job description

SUMMARY

Performs assigned testing tasks on current projects to validate software applications as part of system implementations. This is a hands-on systems tester role focused on executing testing activities. Will be assigned multiple software applications and may face tight deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Execute test cases in accordance with test plans, project specifications, and business requirements.

· Document, track, and communicate test results, issues, and resolutions.

· Analyze information and workflows to identify appropriate actions, requirements, and process improvements.

· Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers, vendors, and company personnel via phone, email, correspondence, and in person.

· Respond timely to inquiries, messages, and requests for information.

· Accurately enter and maintain information within company systems and reporting tools.

· Collaborate effectively in both team and independent work environments.

· Maintain timelines in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.

· Demonstrate adaptability, accountability, professionalism, and a willingness to accept constructive feedback.

· Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including overtime or adjusted schedules as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Education or Experience

High School Diploma

One-year testing experience and/or working in the insurance industry preferred, but not required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical procedures, professional materials, and government regulations.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and procedural documentation, and effectively present information to managers, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

· Ability to analyze data, perform basic mathematical calculations such as percentages, premiums, commissions, and other business-related figures, and apply critical thinking to solve practical problems.

· Ability to interpret and follow written, oral, and process-based instructions while managing multiple variables in a dynamic work environment.

· Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Location:
This position is required to work on-site for the first six (6) months to support training, onboarding, and business integration. Following the introductory period, the role may be eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement based on performance, business needs, and management approval.
