General Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Application Analyst II is responsible for working with other analysts and technical staff to conceptualize function and data structures, and create functional specifications to meet customer expectations. Responsible for coordinating between Information Technology and customers all aspects of information systems to ensure that existing and future systems facilitate, and enhance quality and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing professional support for a designated suite of applications. This includes planning, implementing and organizing activities related to enterprise-wide application selection, deployment and optimization on multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and software environments. Responsible for providing hardware, software and application support.
This particular Analyst will support our Epic Cadence Scheduling module
Responsibilities:
1. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in providing ongoing professional support for a designated suite of applications including planning, implementing and organizing activities related to enterprise-wide application selection, deployment and optimization on multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and software environments
2. Apply advanced knowledge of information technology methodologies while leading, guiding, and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation and execution of applications and technologies. a. Application Analyst II will be responsible for projects with complex scope that requires integration across several different software modules and or applications.
3. Works with other analysts and technical staff to conceptualize function and data structures and create functional specifications to meet customer expectations a. Assists in modifications to existing functionalityb. Assists in troubleshooting efforts and formulates interdisciplinary "task force" groups for multi-application or multi-platform troubleshooting efforts
4. Demonstrates accountability and collaboration as a team member by working successfully with internal and external clients. a. Presents ideas and instructions clearly, verbally and in writing using appropriate presentation tools as needed. b. Practices reflective listening skills c. Demonstrates courteous, timely, and professional approach in dealing with clients and co-workers. d. Follows up with clients on unresolved problemse. Participates in formal and informal training activities and trains end-users.f. Assists in leading design sessions with end-users
5. Assists with analyzing trends and helps create, develop and maintain performance goals and regularly report results and outcomes to management team as requireda. Utilizes emerging technology research and presentation of findings to management and end-user community
6. ) Monitors and tracks highly detailed and multiple complex projects.a. Plans and works on joint projects, and coordinates with others to achieve objectives. b. Serves as a member of multiple project teams.
7. Adheres to IT guidelines and procedure relevant to job responsibilities.
8. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities
Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
  • Education: Associate Degree or above
  • Credential(s): Related cert within 6months of hire, if not already obtained
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience attributable to the application being supported, Epic Cadence healthcare scheduling module.

Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Credential(s): Epic certified. Healthcare credentials.
  • Experience: Five (5) or more years experience with hospital registration, scheduling, and referral workflows preferred. Epic Cadence, Referrals, MyChart, and Welcome experience is an additional benefit.
