We are seeking a passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to work up to three days per week in a supportive, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will be essential in promoting oral health, conducting screenings, and supporting treatment planning alongside our dentist. Welcome and ensure patients feel comfortable before and during examinations
Conduct thorough oral health screenings and identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
Perform professional dental cleanings including plaque removal and fluoride treatments
Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed
Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Assist the dentist in developing appropriate treatment plans based on patient needs
Provide post-operative care instructions following dental procedures
Maintain accurate patient charts and records using Softdent Practice Management Software
Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
Monitor and manage dental supplies and equipment maintenance
Participate in office goal achievements for bonuses and continuous improvement

Salary Range

Part-time $47 - $60 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Up to three days per week — typically Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM

Requirements
  • iTero

Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Current, valid license to practice dental hygiene in Ohio
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar dental role preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance
Experience with preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor
Strong attention to detail and stamina to meet the physical demands of the position
Comfort with digital scanning technology or willingness to learn
