Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients across all age groups.
Assess patients’ oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and emphasize the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
Apply strict aseptic and infection control techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Assist dentists chairside with general and pediatric dentistry procedures as needed.
Collaborate effectively with dentists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Stay current with industry best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Salary Range

Full-time $40 - $45 per hour

Shift & Schedule

- Office is open: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am-4:00pm Friday 7:00am-2:00pm
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
- Closed for Holidays

Requirements
  • Dentrix
  • Eaglesoft
  • Infection Control License
  • Licensed dental hygienist
  • Open Dental

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Minnesota.
Current CPR certification.
Proven experience in chairside assisting and general dentistry procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and patient assessment techniques.
Proficiency with dental software systems (experience with Softdent preferred).
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages.
Commitment to maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor in a team environment.
