Job description

Welcome to Love's! Our indirect tax team is looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst II to manage tax compliance with expanded duties in reconciliations, audits, and tax research. *This position is based onsite at our corporate office located in Oklahoma City, OK.* 

    Job Functions:

  • Independently prepare and file indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. 

  • Conduct more complex reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. 

  • Respond to state notices and assist in tax audits with minimal supervision. 

  • Research and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance. 

  • Assist in maintaining tax software configurations and updates. 

  • Provide input on process improvements and efficiency initiatives. 

  • Mentor and provide guidance to Indirect Tax Analyst I team members. 

  • Perform other duties as needed. 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. 

  • 2-4 years of related experience. 

Skills:  

  • Hard skills: 

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and tax software including Avalara, Vertex, SRA, and SAP

  • Soft Skills: 

    • Effective communication skills
    • Ability to manage workload independently

Typical Physical Demands:  

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. 

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. 

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. 

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision., bachelor's degree, environment, college graduate, undergraduate degree, recent college grad, recent college graduate
