The Soft Goods Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving and processing all incoming soft goods into Armada’s East Coast warehouse using our Warehouse Management System. This role ensures inventory is properly received, quality checked, organized, and prepared for downstream departments including fulfillment and wholesale.


Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory Processing

  • Receive and process incoming inventory in Warehouse Management System using scan guns and handheld devices
  • Match physical goods to corresponding POs and ensure accurate quantity entry
  • Sort and organize incoming boxes by PO for efficient workflow

Quality Control & Problem Solving

  • Perform quality checks on all incoming goods
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies (damages, shortages, incorrect items)
  • Communicate issues clearly to ensure timely resolution

Staging, Mapping & Put away

  • Stage goods on carts per SOP to prepare for bagging and folding
  • Map inventory to appropriate warehouse locations within Warehouse Management System
  • Physically put away inventory into designated shelf locations accurately
  • Maintain organized and optimized storage for efficient picking and replenishment

Pre-Processing & Finishing Support

  • Support bagging, folding, and UPC application processes
  • Assist with operation of automated bagging machine

Cross-Department Support

  • Assist wholesale operations with picking and packing orders
  • Including unbagging items when needed
  • Maintain consistency in packing standards to meet Armada expectations

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year warehouse experience (receiving, fulfillment, or production preferred)

Skills & Abilities

  • Comfortable with physical work (standing up to 8 hours a day, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive movement)
  • Experience with scan guns, printers, and warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); Warehouse Management System experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Team-oriented with ability to follow SOP-driven workflows
