- Provide direct oversight and coordination of all scaffolding, painting, and insulation activities across assigned work areas (OSBL and ISBL).
- Lead daily field execution to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality work performance.
- Align manpower, tools, materials, and access requirements to maintain construction momentum.
Planning & Coordination
- Participate in Plan of the Day (POD), gang box meetings, weekly planning sessions, and progress meetings.
- Ensure SPI work is properly sequenced to support mechanical, piping, electrical, and civil activities.
- Identify and mitigate potential schedule impacts, access conflicts, and resource constraints.
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and field observations.
- Enforce safe work practices and intervene when unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified.
- Ensure scaffold erection, insulation installation, and coating applications meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Quality & Technical Oversight
- Verify all installations meet design specifications, inspection requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate required inspections and ensure proper documentation prior to turnover.
- Provide constructability input and assist in resolving technical challenges in the field.
Schedule & Cost Control
- Monitor productivity, manpower levels, and work progress.
- Provide accurate field feedback to planning and project controls.
- Maintain cost awareness in T&M and unit-rate work environments.
- Support completion forecasting and ensure work is delivered within budget and schedule commitments.
Interface Management
- Coordinate SPI activities with other craft disciplines to optimize space, access, and equipment utilization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between subcontractors, engineering, planning, and client teams.
- Proactively remove barriers to execution and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
Documentation & Closeout
- Ensure all required reports, inspection records, and turnover documentation are completed accurately and on time.
