What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Soffit installers typically do not earn $2000 a day; such high daily earnings are more common in specialized or high-demand fields like certain contractors, surgeons, or corporate executives. Skilled trades like soffit installation usually pay hourly or project-based rates, with top earners making several hundred dollars per day depending on experience and location.

What construction job is most in demand?

Soffit installers are part of the broader construction trades that are currently in high demand due to ongoing residential and commercial building projects. Skilled trades such as carpentry, roofing, and drywall installation also see strong demand, especially as construction activity increases and workers with specialized skills are sought after. Certifications and experience with tools like scaffolding and safety protocols enhance job prospects in this field.

What trade fixes soffits?

A soffit installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining soffits, which are the underside parts of eaves or overhangs. They often use tools like drills, saws, and ladders, and may need knowledge of building codes and safety procedures. Proper installation ensures ventilation and prevents water damage to the roof structure.

Does a roofer do soffits?

A roofer typically does not install soffits, as soffit installation is usually performed by siding or exterior trim specialists. However, some roofers with general construction skills may handle soffit work as part of roof or gutter projects. Proper installation often requires knowledge of ventilation and building codes.

Job description

Commercial Roofing & Restoration $25โ€“$35/hour ยท Veterans and transitioning service members strongly encouraged to apply

A client of Impart Consulting is growing their commercial roofing and restoration team and looking for dependable Sheet Metal Installers who take pride in doing the job right. In this role, you'll install architectural metal systems โ€” soffit, fascia, standing seam, composite panels, metal shingles, and cap metal โ€” as part of a crew built on safety, accountability, and craftsmanship.

It's hands-on, mission-driven work in a team-first environment, which makes it a natural fit for veterans and transitioning service members. You'll be mentored by your foreman and lead installer as you learn the trade and build a long-term career.

What You'll Do
  • Install architectural sheet metal systems โ€” soffit, fascia, standing seam, composite panels, metal shingles, and cap metal โ€” safely and to spec

  • Work alongside your crew on every phase of the job: tear-off, repairs, measuring, material prep, layout, and installation

  • Set up and break down safety and fall-protection equipment

  • Document job progress, site conditions, and completion details

  • Show up on time and fully prepared with your own tools and PPE

  • Follow all job-site safety requirements, including PPE and fall protection

  • Take part in weekly safety meetings and all assigned training

  • Learn every aspect of the job by supporting your foreman or lead installer and performing to company standards

What We're Looking For
  • A strong work ethic and the reliability to show up and follow through

  • Comfort working at heights and in changing weather conditions

  • A team mindset โ€” able to balance shared goals with individual responsibility

  • Willingness to learn new skills and follow structured processes

  • Professionalism with coworkers, customers, vendors, and the public

  • Manufacturer-specific system training is provided; prior roofing or sheet metal experience is a plus
