Job Description:

Better Living Affinity LLC is hiring an experienced caregiver for a part-time home care case in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area.


Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM and every other Saturday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.


Pay: $17–$18 per hour based on experience. Paid weekly by direct deposit.


This position is for a client who uses a wheelchair and needs respectful support with daily care. Duties may include standby and hands-on assistance with transfers as needed, toileting support, shower setup/assistance, dressing, compression socks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and occasional outing or appointment support.


Prior hands-on caregiving experience is required. Experience with personal care, transfers, wheelchair support, and compression socks is preferred. CNA certification is preferred but not required.


The right caregiver should be dependable, patient, respectful, professional, and comfortable following the client’s routine. This client is independent and specific about how he likes things done, so personality fit matters. The caregiver should be able to assist without taking over.


Requirements: reliable transportation, working phone, dependable attendance, ability to follow a care plan, and willingness to complete onboarding paperwork and a background check.
