INTERNSHIP– Get hands-on experience in business, marketing, social media, and order fulfillment

Location:  In-person, Mission Valley, San Diego


Time Commitment: 8-10 hours/week. In-person 2x a week MWF (choose 2 days that fit best with schedule) for 3-4 month term.

Compensation: 

$150 overall + commission + academic credit. Interns will receive a $150 gift for the course of the internship. We also offer commission or bonuses if you secure influencer collaborations or create content that ends up going viral on social media.

About the internship:

Shezza is looking for motivated, creative students who are excited to learn many aspects of managing a new, small business. Learning a plethora of these hands-on skills can help you discover what you want to do in your future career or is perfect if you want to have your own business someday.


Core responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Pack and fulfill orders on Shopify and Amazon (buy labels, learn the backend of our sales channels)
  • Content Creation: Brainstorm and film TikToks and Reels, find trending audios, and design Instagram Stories and posts (comfortable appearing on camera)
  • Social Media Management: Engage with followers and customers: like, comment, repost, and respond to DMs
  • Analytics:Track business metrics: ad spend, ROAS, orders placed, customer demographics, order return rate, etc.
  • Influencer Outreach: Find influencers who fit our brand, gather their demographics and social presence data, and reach out via DM and email
  • TikTok Shop Affiliates: Find creators who align with the brand, invite them, send product, track their content, and maintain the relationship for future collabs

  • Other tasks you may take on (varies): 


    Content Creation & Photoshoots

    • Take professional photos and videos of products
    • Help plan and execute photoshoots, including moodboard ideas for campaigns
    • Opportunity to model for the brand
    • Edit images on Canva

    Advertising & Website

    • Create ads for Pinterest, Meta and TikTok
    • Participate in team calls with professionals
    • Update the website: photos, text, prices, descriptions, layout

    Research & Outreach

    • Conduct market research for the business
    • Partner with college organizations like sororities and clubs to build brand awareness
    • PR outreach and research
    • Marketing on Reddit
    • Research business pitch competitions to apply for and compete for prize money

    Customer Service

    • Manage customer requests- help with returns, questions about orders
    • Collect customer feedback

Tiffany has a great deal of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, and overseas manufacturing.

    You will also work alongside 2-4 other student interns, making it a collaborative and social environment.
