About the Role
Intergenerational Healing & Wellness Center (IHWC) is a trauma-informed group practice dedicated to providing culturally affirming mental health services to marginalized communities. We are seeking a passionate and growth-oriented Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) who is committed to healing-centered work and ready to build their clinical career in a supportive, mission-driven environment. If you are called to serve BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and are eager to deepen your trauma-informed practice, we want to hear from you.
Education & Experience
∙ Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required
∙ Must hold an active Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) license in the state of Florida
Qualifications & Position Details
∙ Demonstrated commitment to serving marginalized communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations
∙ Brings cultural humility and an open, growth-oriented mindset
∙ Willingness to work with adolescents and adults presenting with anxiety, depression, acute trauma, and life transitions
∙ Open to learning and applying trauma-informed and trauma-specific modalities
∙ 1099 contractor position with a two-year commitment required
∙ Must be willing to carry a minimum caseload of 5 clients per week
∙ Must have availability for evening and weekend appointments
∙ Must be available to provide both virtual (telehealth) and in-person sessions
Requirements
∙ Must obtain and maintain an NPI (National Provider Identifier) for credentialing purposes
∙ Must carry active malpractice/professional liability insurance
∙ Must register with the Florida Certification Board to log and track supervised clinical hours under a Qualified Supervisor
