FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!
Position Summary: Responsible for day-to-day management of the Providence Police and Rhode Island State Police Programs within GO TEAM® ® which provide crisis intervention, emergency screening and triage in collaboration with the law enforcement to families exposed to victimization and trauma in the community. Supervises GO TEAM® staff and manages the on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related filed required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience and training in victim services or crisis intervention required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills (verbal and written) highly preferred.
  • Public speaking skills preferred.
  • Training in childhood trauma, police procedures and court experience preferred.
  • Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

Physical Requirements: This position requires agency and community visits. Employees in this position must have the ability to:
  • Lift up to 20lbs.
  • Travel to and from FSRI sites, various law enforcement headquarters and substations, and various community locations statewide, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of day/early evening/weekend hours.
