Overview
The Director of Social Services plays a pivotal role in leading and managing social service programs within our organization. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities and promote their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of behavioral health, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those served.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of social service programs.

  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability of programs.

  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

  • Conduct program evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met within the community.
