• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to pinpoint social, emotional, and environmental challenges impacting their well-being.
• Create and implement individualized service plans that include clearly defined goals, actionable interventions, and a method for monitoring progress.
• Facilitate counseling sessions with individuals and families, focusing on identifying obstacles and developing coping strategies.
• Engage collaboratively with clients to design personalized plans and connect them to appropriate community resources for additional support.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning, ensuring clients feel secure and supported during difficult times.
• Work alongside community agencies and organizations to coordinate holistic services and advocate for equitable treatment of all clients.
• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of agency services and promote social work within the community.
• Attend case conferences and staff meetings to continuously improve service delivery and share best practices among team members.

The primary population you will work with includes children and families within the school system, many of whom face challenging life circumstances such as socio-economic hardships, emotional disturbances, and family-related issues. By addressing these challenges through counseling and community resource connection, you will play a pivotal role in helping students achieve academic and personal success.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Current licensing as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.
• Strong understanding of social services delivery and trauma-informed care principles.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a social service agency, particularly in settings focused on mental health and educational services.
• Experience working cooperatively in multidisciplinary teams to address complex client needs.
• Familiarity with community resources and advocacy strategies.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
