Job Description:
As a Protective Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of federally owned, leased, or occupied facilities protected by the Federal Protective Service. This includes monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, permitting entry, and responding to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a secure environment by monitoring and controlling access to the facility.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, assisting as needed.
• Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Prepare and submit reports on activities and incidents.
• Conduct personnel and vehicle screening.
• Provide first aid and assist first responders as needed.
• Operate security equipment and perform patrols.

Minimum Requirements:
  • CANDIDATE MUST HAVE GOOD CREDIT, NO EXCESSIVE LATE PAYMENTS OR COLLECTIONS

• Must be a United States citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident with verifiable honorable discharge from any component of the United StatesArmed Forces.
• Must have been issued a Social Security Card by the Social Security Administration.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of security (armed) or one year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service policedepartment in a municipality, state, or federal law enforcement department within the US, or two years of honorable service as a member ofany US Armed Forces component.
• Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and compose written reports in English.
• Must pass a background check and obtain the necessary security clearance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and firearm license/permit.
Ability to pass a medical examination and meet physical requirements.

Competitive hourly wage of $ 40.52
