We are the nation's largest owner of top-rated local television stations and digital assets serving 117 full-power television markets that collectively reach approximately 37% of US television households. The portfolio includes 80 markets with the top-rated television station and 100 markets with the first and/or second highest rated television station in average all-day ratings across 116 of such markets that were measured by Nielsen in 2025. We also own the largest Telemundo Affiliate group with 47 markets and Gray Digital Media, a full-service digital agency offering national and local clients digital marketing strategies with the most advanced digital products and services. Our additional media properties include video production companies Raycom Sports, Tupelo Media Group, and PowerNation Studios, and studio production facilities Assembly Atlanta and Third Rail Studios.

About WMBF:

WMBF is the NBC Network affiliate for the Grand Strand and Pee Dee regions of South Carolina and parts of North Carolina. This Gray Media-owned property was launched in 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC, and was built as a state-of-the-art HD broadcast facility. We broadcast over 39 hours of live local news and weather + NBC network programming. Job Summary/Description:

WMBF-TV, the NBC affiliate in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our winning sales team. This position is responsible for growing existing agency accounts and developing new business by providing excellent customer service and offering multi-platform advertising solutions which include: WMBF-TV, Bounce TV, and a suite of digital media products. Our digital advertising platforms include: Streaming TV, Google, SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing, Targeted Display & Video, plus much more! We function as a full service local advertising agency.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Service existing accounts and create sales opportunities specific to each client
  • Seek out and win the business of new advertisers.
  • Assist in the production of client's needs and act as a liaison with all departments.
  • Research strategies and utilize in client proposals effectively.
  • Grow & retain accounts by understanding client KPIs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Prior media sales or advertising agency experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred.
  • Wide Orbit, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general marketing practices and exceptional communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills are required.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn new skills and software.
