Job Summary/Description:  

This role includes anchoring weekend morning weathercasts and reporting weather/feature stories during the week. You’ll work alongside experienced meteorologists, contribute to severe weather coverage, and engage viewers through social media—especially during major weather events.

A person will co-anchor and handle weather for our Weekend AM newscasts. They will also fill in for other Meteorologists when needed throughout the year. In addition, they will act as an MMJ covering feature stories, weather/farm-related ones, as well as other potential franchise segments.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Ideal candidates hold (or are pursuing) a degree in meteorology or a related science, demonstrate strong onair potential, and have a passion for telling impactful local weather stories.
