Job description

About Suno

We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfillment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.

Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.

Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Community Manager to be the voice of Suno across our social platforms and the daily connective tissue between our fans, creators, and brand. This is a full time role reporting to the Director of Social Media, and it sits at the heart of how Suno shows up in culture—shaping the tone, energy, and relationships that turn casual listeners into passionate advocates.

In this role, you’ll live inside our comments, DMs, replies, and community spaces—engaging with Suno’s audience in a way that feels human, witty, and unmistakably on-brand. You’ll partner closely with the social, brand, and content teams to surface cultural moments, amplify creators, and translate community signal into insight that shapes how we talk and what we make. You’ll help build a community that feels alive, inclusive, and creatively inspired.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves the internet—who can spot a meme before it peaks, write a reply that earns a screenshot, and spark conversations that make people feel seen. You understand the rhythm of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, and Reddit, and you move with the speed and fluency that real-time community work demands. You’re equally comfortable celebrating a creator’s moment, defusing a tense thread, and turning a random comment into a reason for a thousand more.

What You’ll Do
  • Own day-to-day community engagement across Suno’s social channels (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms), responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a voice that is distinctly Suno.

  • Build genuine relationships with Suno creators and superfans—celebrating their work, surfacing their songs, and helping them feel recognized as part of the Suno story.

  • Spot cultural moments, memes, and trends in real time and partner with the social team to jump on them quickly with on-brand, high-quality responses.

  • Moderate community spaces (Discord, Reddit, comments sections) with care and good judgment—keeping conversations healthy, welcoming, and aligned with our community guidelines.

  • Act as the first line of listening for the brand—tracking sentiment, surfacing emerging themes, and escalating issues, bugs, or sensitive conversations to the appropriate teams.

  • Drive a proactive social listening practice—monitoring conversations across owned channels, broader social platforms, and creator communities to identify recurring themes, sentiment shifts, white-space opportunities, and early signals of issues.

  • Translate those themes into clear, prioritized actions: content ideas for the social team, talking points for brand and PR, product feedback for the Suno team, creator outreach opportunities, and adjustments to community strategy. Share these insights through regular readouts so listening consistently turns into decisions and meaningful follow-through.

  • Partner with the Director of Social Media to shape community strategy, contribute to content ideas, and help plan engagement around launches, campaigns, and cultural moments.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Content, Product Marketing, Support, and Trust & Safety to ensure community feedback informs how we build, communicate, and respond.

  • Develop lightweight community rituals—weekly highlights, creator spotlights, AMAs, and other recurring programs that give fans something to show up for.

  • Maintain playbooks and documentation for response guidelines, escalation paths, tone of voice, and community best practices.

  • Report on community health and engagement—tracking qualitative and quantitative signals that help the team understand what’s resonating and where to invest next.

  • Champion the Suno community internally, ensuring creators and fans are represented in the decisions we make.

What You’ll Need
  • 2+ years of community management or social media experience, ideally at a consumer tech company, music or entertainment brand, creator platform, or culture-forward agency.

  • A strong, distinctive writing voice—you can match a brand’s tone while still sounding like a real person, and you know when to be playful, warm, hype, or measured.

  • Deep fluency in internet and platform culture—TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Discord, and Reddit each have their own norms, and you understand them intuitively.

  • A love of music and creativity—you get why Suno matters to people and are excited to build community around the act of making something.

  • Excellent judgment and emotional intelligence, especially in sensitive, ambiguous, or high-visibility moments; you know when to engage, when to listen, and when to elevate.

  • Experience moderating online communities and navigating feedback, criticism, and the occasional troll with grace and confidence.

  • Comfort with the pace of real-time work—you can move quickly without sacrificing quality, and you’re energized (not overwhelmed) by a full inbox and a lit-up mentions tab.

  • Familiarity with community and social tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Khoros, Discord admin tools, native platform analytics) and a willingness to learn new ones.

  • A collaborative, low-ego approach—you partner well with designers, writers, producers, and cross-functional teammates, and you’re excited to build something together.

  • Bonus: personal experience as a creator, musician, or active participant in online communities.

Additional Notes:

  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

  • This is an in person role working at our NYC or LA office.

Perks & Benefits
  • Company Equity Package

  • 401(k) with 3% Employer Match & Roth 401(k)

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance (PPO w/ HSA & FSA options)

  • 11 Paid Holidays + Unlimited PTO & Sick Time

  • 16 Weeks of Paid Parental Leave

  • Creative Education Stipend

  • Generous Commuter Allowance

  • In-Office Lunch (5 days per week)

Compensation

Base salary: $82,000 - $107,000 (before equity)
