Job description

Position Purpose

The Social Media and Multimedia Manager plays a critical role in helping to shape the public voice of the company, managing social media content and engagement, and supporting internal and external communications. This position is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating compelling visual content for internal and external audiences, and contributing to crisis communications during emergencies. The role includes photography and videography responsibilities to support storytelling across internal and external channels.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's social media strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, campaigns, and brand voice.
  • Plan and manage content calendars and cross-channel campaigns; partner with internal stakeholders to align messaging and timing.
  • Create, schedule and post content regularly across platforms, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and visual identity.
  • Capture and edit photography and video to support both internal communications and external brand storytelling.
  • Analyze engagement data, track performance metrics, and make recommendations to enhance reach and impact.
  • Serve as advisor and point of contact for social media best practices, tools, and trends across the organization.
  • Ensure social media and multimedia activities comply with legal, ethical, and brand standards.
  • Support crisis communications and media monitoring as part of the broader Communications team.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, feedback and sentiment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries while ensuring response communication is consistent, timely and professional
  • Effectively manage social media budget to ensure spend is within budget and dollars are used on high value
