Pre-Academy Soccer Coach

Job description

About Morsink Soccer Academy

Morsink Soccer Academy is a player development organization built around one goal: helping young athletes grow, season after season. We operate year-round out of our own dedicated indoor training facility, serving players and families across Loudoun County.

Our pre-academy program (ages 5–9) is the foundation of that mission — it's where players build their first real relationship with the game, and it's the most important pipeline into our full academy.

The Role

We're hiring a Pre-Academy Coach to lead training sessions Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. This is a steady, recurring role — at least three guaranteed sessions a week, consistent pay, and real ownership over how our youngest players experience the game.

For the right person, this isn't just a coaching gig. As MSA's pre-academy program grows, we're building toward a Director of Pre-Academy role — and the coach who takes this position on, grows with it, and proves out over time is the natural candidate for that next step.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical training sessions for players ages 5–9, following MSA's pre-academy curriculum
  • Build an energetic, positive, age-appropriate environment that keeps young players engaged and excited to come back
  • Communicate player progress with parents in brief, informal check-ins
  • Bring consistency — young players and their families depend on a stable, familiar coaching presence

What We're Looking For

  • USSF Grassroots Coaching License or higher
  • Genuine experience and enthusiasm working with young children — this matters as much as your soccer background
  • Someone looking for a real, ongoing role, looking to grow in their professional career
  • A coach who wants to grow with a program

Compensation: $40/session ($120-$200/week)
